TAITIEN Electronics, a leading provider of frequency control solutions, has introduced a new line of high frequency voltage-control crystal oscillator (VCXOs) with low phase jitter, capable of achieving frequencies up to 800MHz. Leveraging TAITIEN’s long history of making high-performance VCXOs and expertise in end-to-end fabrication of high-frequency quartz crystal oscillators, the new VCXO is capable of providing high frequency with phase jitter reaching 40 fs (femtoseconds) @491.52MHz in both 7x5mm and 9x14mm SMD packages.

Taking advantage of Taitien’s proprietary Inverted Mesa technology as well as low-noise analog multiplier circuits, the VT and VK series of VCXOs can achieve very high frequencies for high-speed communication networks with excellent phase noise and large frequency pulling up to ±150ppm with minimal frequency multiplication. At the supply voltage of 3.3V, the VCXOs operate over temperature range from -40 to 85oC and can reach frequency stability as low as +/-25ppm. The VCXOs are available in both LVPECL and LVDS output waveforms. These features make the VT and VK series optimal solutions in wide range of applications such frequency synthesizer, jitter-attenuating and clock recovery circuits.
