概要
最近,5G通信的普及和Wi-Fi®的高速化、车载部件的电装化等,通信终端的多功能化导致电子设备的安装密度不断提高。 另外,由于安装区域的空间有限,搭载部件的尺寸正在向小型化发展。
其中,京瓷通过出色的光刻加工和与大阪大学共同开发的超高精度加工技术(等离子体CVM技术),成功量产化了“超小型石英晶振CX1008SB系列”。

小型化中的问题和解决方案:
从以往尺寸的1.2×1.0mm向1.0×0.8mm小型化时,串联电阻值( CI值)会提高30%左右。 为了避免这种情况,有必要重新审视搭载晶体振子的基板的电路设计。
于是,京瓷拥有的压电分析技术用石英元件的优化设计通过进行,称为1.0×0.8mm尺寸实现小型化与此同时,1.2×1.0mm尺寸※1实现与同等的电气特性做了。 由此,无需变更基板的电路就可以使用。

小型高精度石英元件的制造技术
等离子体CVM加工
什么是CVM?化学汽化加工法的简称。在以往的加工精度下,在将石英元件小型化时,存在电气特性的偏差变大的问题。
解决该课题的是京瓷与大阪大学共同开发的超高精度加工技术(等离子体CVM技术:详情请参阅)。
该技术是利用等离子体中的中性自由基和加工物表面的化学反应的加工方法,可以高精度地控制水晶的厚度和表面状态等。 由此,、成功降低了频率偏差做了。
实现超小型石英振子的超精密等离子加工技术(等离子CVM技术※1)是大阪大学和京瓷共同开发的,利用等离子体中的中性自由基和加工物表面的化学反应的加工方法,作为不会在表面引入损伤的情况下,能够以纳米级精度使水晶晶片的厚度分布均匀化的技术。 由此,成功制造了降低了频率偏差的高性能石英晶片,实现了超小型石英振子的批量生产。 本技术开发也有助于智能手机和可穿戴终端的进一步普及、扩大,以及助听器、医疗胶囊等的小型化。 本公司以本技术为基础,进一步加快车载低频带振子、通信基站高频带振子、高精度振荡器等各种产品的开发,支持5G通信和先进驾驶辅助系统( ADAS )等IoT发展的社会。
